All jazzed up, Jakartans jam
convention center


The sultry sound of Jazz heated up rainy
Jakarta on the first day of the world's biggest
Jazz festival Friday.
No matter what the weather has in store for the
city this weekend, for three days audiences can expect to see the best in international, national, regional and local talent, with more than 200 performers set to take the stage at the
Jakarta Convention Center.
The 2007 festival features household names
like Chaka Khan, Jamie Cullum, Level 42 and David Benoit, as well as local stars Dwiki Dharmawan and Rieka Roeslan.
There is sure to be something for everyone at the 3rd Jakarta Jazz Festival.  -- JP
