‘I don’t like to show weakness in public’

Flower Power

Say it with flowers; it may liven up your look but hopefully it won’t draw a swarm of bees!

Here is my head’s up for the stylish look for the Year of the Rat. After two years when they were united in turning their backs on motifs, designers have relented by allowing them back into their creations with flowers. So be happy that you can have a motif in your closet once again instead of monotones.

Designers are united in wanting you to resemble a vase overflowing with flowers. Like everything, it may be a beautiful look or a wilting fashion disaster, depending on how you bring it all together.

Flowers bring joy and happiness; they show one’s love and also calm a saddened soul. The simple message from designers is for all of us to bring a bit of floral fun and festive spirit into our lives. Flowers don’t fret, fuss or flare up, so why should you?
