‘The spice of life is a loving heart’

Modern Makeover

Batik is slowly but surely being taken beyond its usual haunts – official ceremonies, weddings, Idul Fitri get-togethers – and given a bold, fresh new twist. While it still smacks of tradition, a contemporary design and approach allow the fabric to be worn to a variety of events and by people of all ages.  It’s no longer to be shoved back in the closet after a rare outing: Take it out on the town with you whenever you want.
