‘Beauty’ Kit
20/20
‘I’m fed up with the kids’ question’

‘Beauty’ Kit
Tod’s has launched a bag that is roomy enough to hold your cosmetics and other necessities for trips near and far. It is made from leather and comes in two classic colors of black and light brown. There will be no need to call housekeeping for one of those stiff-bristled toothbrushes.

Far-out Travel
Tired of sticking to earth-bound trips? Now you can head far, far away into outer space, at a sky-high price. Space Adventures, with its The Explorer craft, offers a trip into space for 90 minutes, at a cost of US$100,000. Airline tycoon Richard Branson, through his Virgin Galactic, shelled out $150,000 for a 150-minute journey.

Beauty at the Beach
Going on holiday is no excuse to take a vacation from your skin-care regimen. These products will help you enjoy a bit of R+R while also giving your skin a treat, even beneath a scorching sun.

Light to the Touch
Kate Spade has something for the traveler who adores color and something different. This black leather suitcase flashes red when it is opened.

The Good Life

  1. Flying first-class is the only way to feel like you are snuggled up in the comfort of your own bed in today’s so crowded skies.

  2. If the hassle of flying gets you down, then why not try the high seas? The giant Freedom of the Seas, twice as tall as the Statue of Liberty and also twice the width of the Titanic, has been lauded as a once-in-a-lifetime cruise. The Royal Caribbean Line’s ship boasts a 113-square-meter stateroom big enough to accommodate 14 people, who can enjoy a whirlpool, wet bar and five full-screen TVs. Room prices range from $1,900 to $22,000 per week; destinations include Mexico and the Caribbean.

  3. La Praire Spa at the Ritz-Carlton New York near Central Park is offering a $225 relaxation for an aromatherapy massage, hand and foot reflexology and a 90-minute de-stressing facial. If the Big Apple is too far to travel, La CHI spa at Shangri-La Pudong Shanghai, offers the opportunity to soak in a hydrotherapy tub filled to the brim with essential oils. Also included is a face and body massage.  ..

  4. Bvlgari hotel in Bali rolls out the red carpet with stunning views and a tired traveler-friendly menu policy. No need to wake up early to grab breakfast – it is served round the clock.
