The Last Chapter

Next month will bring a slew of new products our way. Now is the time to reflect on all we have, and if we really need more.

July is sales month, the prime time to grab branded goods at discount prices, especially after your pocketbook has taken a beating over the rest of the year.

The images here are not intended to elicit a triumphant, “Oh, I bought that already,” nor a regretful “I should have snapped that up long ago.” Instead, let’s contemplate if we have made unnecessary fashion purchases, such as buying shoes and bags simply to color coordinate them with our clothes, while unwittingly being left by the style wayside.

Like starting afresh, review your fashion choices over the past 12 months, and pledge not to repeat the same mistakes.

Be sure to divide your fashion calendar into two periods: the end of the spring and summer collections that occurs this month, and the fall/winter attire that will last until March next year.

You also need to inspect your wardrobe. If it is overflowing with clothes and accessories, clean it out and arrange a garage sale (or donate the discarded items to me).  The closet space will be needed for all the goodies coming your way in August. Get ready for the shock of the new.
