Seeing Red

While men are decidedly dark this fall, women are a blaze of color befitting the plumage of a Bird of Paradise.

I am envious of the fall/winter collections for women. We men are stuck with little choice for color except the ubiquitous black. In contrast, women’s fashion screams of color, like a beacon shooting out from the dark. John Galliano for Dior features a rainbow of hues: green, yellow, pink, blue. His joyful enthusiasm is shared by Diane von Furstenberg, Stella McCartney and in Gucci’s short skirts and long coats.

My advice is to take a long look at the fashions on this page. Perhaps they can provide a warm glow for those feeling the cold.
